FAQ
At the standard 93:7 or 95:5 polyester:TGIC ratio, target polyester acid value of 30–45 mg KOH/g. At 30 mg KOH/g, use ~7% TGIC; at 45 mg KOH/g, increase to ~9% TGIC. The stoichiometric calculation: TGIC phr = (AV × 103.1) / (56100). Slightly sub-stoichiometric NCO gives better overbake resistance; excess TGIC causes brittleness and potential blooming.
