FAQ
Benzoguanamine resin incorporates a bulky benzene ring that reduces crosslink density compared to melamine, yielding more flexible, crack-resistant films on plastic substrates that undergo thermal expansion. It cures at lower temperatures (110–130°C) than most melamine resins, is compatible with a wider range of OH-functional resins, and produces films with superior exterior durability and gloss retention due to the phenyl ring's UV-stabilising effect.
