ATH Mineral Filler
Aluminum trihydrate (Al(OH)₃) — the workhorse halogen-free flame retardant for waterborne intumescent coatings, sealants, and HFFR-class compound formulation. Endothermic decomposition at 180–200°C with 35% water release.
Intumescent Coating & Sealant Systems
Pre-formulated intumescent base materials and fire-stop sealants — char-forming systems that expand 30–50× their original thickness on exposure to flame, providing 60–120 minute fire ratings on steel structural members and penetration seals.
Zinc Borate Synergists
Zinc borate (4ZnO·6B₂O₃·7H₂O) char-forming and smoke-suppressing synergists for ATH-filled FR coatings. Common loading 5–10% in HFFR formulations and 2–5% in intumescent paints.
