2E4MZ is used at 0.5–2 phr per 100 phr DGEBA when combined with 4–6 phr DICY. At 1 phr 2E4MZ + 5 phr DICY, gel time at 150°C is typically 90–150 seconds (B-stage at 100°C >60 min, providing good processing window). Increasing to 2 phr 2E4MZ halves gel time to 45–75 seconds at 150°C, suitable for rapid-cure PCB multilayer pressing. For powder coatings, 1 phr 2E4MZ + 4 phr DICY achieves full mechanical properties after 180°C/10 min bake.
