Glycoluril (Tetramethoxymethyl Glycoluril) Crosslinker — Powderlink 1174 Type

Glycoluril crosslinker has a higher molecular weight than HMMM and a symmetric 4-functional cyclic structure that produces lower transalkylation byproducts during cure. In high-solids solventborne coatings (>70% solids), this results in lower VOC from condensation byproducts, higher Tg films, and improved edge coverage. It is particularly valued in can/coil coatings subject to FDA extractables regulations and in semiconductor photoresist applications requiring ultra-low contamination.
