FAQ

Amine blush is caused by migration of low-molecular-weight aliphatic amines to the surface where they react with atmospheric CO₂ and moisture to form carbamic acid salts (white haze). Adduct hardeners have pre-reacted amine groups with some epoxy, raising molecular weight and reducing migration tendency. Combined with low cure-temp accelerator (benzyl alcohol or phenol at 5–8 phr), good solvent resistance and hardness develop even at 5°C/80% RH, with minimal blush.
