FAQ
IPDI trimer produces harder films (pencil hardness typically H–2H vs HB–H for HDI trimer) due to the alicyclic ring structure, but exhibits slightly higher viscosity. Both provide excellent UV/yellowing resistance. IPDI trimer is preferred where maximum hardness and scratch resistance are required; HDI trimer is chosen where flexibility and lower-viscosity formulations are priority.
