FAQ
Zinc(II) acetylacetonate at 0.1–0.3% on NCO solids is highly effective, accelerating malonate deblocking at 100–110°C. Organic tin catalysts (DBTL) are less effective with malonate blocking agents. A combined zinc/bismuth system (0.1% each) provides the best balance of low-temperature reactivity and shelf stability at room temperature.
