FAQ
TGIC (triglycidyl isocyanurate) is classified as a reproductive toxin (Repr. 2) under CLP and requires hazard labelling that restricts consumer use. HAA (Primid type) carries no reproductive toxicity classification, enabling powder coatings intended for garden furniture, playground equipment, and consumer goods. HAA-cured systems with COOH polyester show comparable mechanical properties but slightly lower chemical resistance than TGIC systems — acceptable for most decorative applications.
