FAQ
Polyethylene wax dispersions improve three key surface properties simultaneously: (1) Slip/COF reduction — wax particles migrating to the film surface create a lubricating layer that reduces the dynamic coefficient of friction, improving scratch and mar resistance; (2) Block resistance — wax particles prevent film surfaces from cold-welding together (blocking) during storage or stacking; (3) Abrasion resistance — the hard, high-melting-point PE wax (MP 100–105°C) resists wearing under repeated foot traffic or mechanical contact. Dosage control is important: excess wax reduces gloss and can impair adhesion of subsequent coats.
