UV Absorber Tinuvin 400 Type (Triazine-based, Reactive)

Triazine-based UV absorbers such as Tinuvin 400 type are liquids with higher molecular weight (~795 g/mol vs ~300–400 g/mol for benzotriazoles), giving them lower volatility, reduced extractability, and better compatibility with polar waterborne binders. Their broader UV absorption (onset ~250 nm, peak ~307 nm) covers short-wave UV more effectively. In waterborne 2K PU and high-solids systems, the liquid form integrates easily without solvent pre-dissolution steps required for solid benzotriazole powders.
