Terbutryn Algicide 25% Suspension (Dry-Film Algaecide)

Terbutryn is a triazine-class photosynthesis inhibitor (PS-II inhibitor) that prevents algal growth on cured coating surfaces by blocking the photosynthetic electron transport chain in algae and cyanobacteria. Unlike isothiazolinone biocides that act on cellular proteins, terbutryn's mode of action is specific to photosynthetic organisms, making it highly efficient against green algae, blue-green algae, and diatoms on exterior facades without affecting non-photosynthetic bacteria.
