Silicone-Polyether Block Copolymer Gemini Type (Bifunctional)

Gemini (ABA block) silicone-polyether combines two amphiphilic head groups with a PDMS spacer, giving it lower critical micelle concentration (CMC) and more efficient surface tension reduction than linear silicone-polyether at the same dose. The dual hydrophilic blocks also provide better water compatibility and reduced silicone migration to surface in high-humidity curing conditions, making these particularly valuable for waterborne industrial coatings applied in humid environments.
