Semi-Refined Paraffin Wax 58# (Industrial Grade)

Fully-refined paraffin wax has oil content <0.5% and white color (Saybolt +30). Semi-refined has 0.5–1.5% oil content and slightly lower whiteness. For coating applications: fully-refined is specified for food-contact (FDA 21 CFR 172.886 for direct food contact), white paperboard coatings, and cosmetics. Semi-refined is adequate for industrial anti-blocking, construction waterproofing, and non-food wax emulsions at 20–30% lower cost. Higher oil content in semi-refined wax can slightly reduce gloss and water resistance in coatings—acceptable for most industrial uses.
