MW 5000 polyacrylate is optimized for inorganic pigments with high surface area: TiO2, CaCO3, talc, and kaolin. Its low molecular weight provides dense surface adsorption on particle surfaces, stabilizing dispersions electrostatically at pH 8–9. For organic pigments requiring steric stabilization, higher MW (15k–30k) or hyperbranched variants are preferred.
