FAQ
Lignosulfonate (LS) can be combined with synthetic anionic polyacrylate dispersants for a synergistic effect: LS provides broad-spectrum pigment surface coverage at lower cost, while synthetic dispersants provide precise steric stabilization for challenging organic pigments. However, combining LS with cationic dispersants or cationic biocides (e.g., benzalkonium chloride) causes precipitation. Check compatibility with HEUR thickeners as LS can interact with polyurethane associative thickeners and reduce viscosity response.
