HALS Light Stabilizer Tinuvin 152 Type (Oligomeric, Low Extractability)

Oligomeric HALS (Tinuvin 152 type, average MW ~3500 g/mol) has significantly lower vapor pressure and extractability compared to monomeric grades (MW 400–600 g/mol). This means less loss through volatility, migration, or washing out during the coating service life — critical for automotive OEM finishes rated for 10–15 years outdoor UV exposure. The higher MW also imparts better compatibility with polar polymers and resistance to acid-rain deactivation in some grades.
