Food-Grade Mineral Oil Defoamer FGD-100 (FDA/KOSHER)

For coatings in contact with food (can linings, drum coatings, paper board), defoamers must comply with: FDA 21 CFR 172.878 (US) for white mineral oil, EU Regulation 10/2011 (plastics in food contact) for polymeric types, and BfR Recommendation XXXVI (Germany). All components must be declared on the SDS with their CAS numbers for migration risk assessment. KOSHER/HALAL certification is required for food-contact applications in specific markets. Silicon-free formulations are preferred as silicone is not on the positive lists for food-contact materials in all jurisdictions.
