PA-305 builds a weak thixotropic network via hydrogen bonding between amide groups, giving softer, more easily dispersible sediment than organoclays. It performs well in aromatic and aliphatic solvent systems without requiring a polar activator, and typically causes less gloss reduction in clear topcoats.
