100% active polyacrylate leveling agents give formulators full control over exact addition level without carrier solvent interference. They are preferred in high-solids coatings (>70% solid) where extra solvent would hurt VOC compliance, in UV formulations where carrier solvent could inhibit cure, and in powder coatings (melted in at low temperature). Diluted versions (30–50%) are easier to disperse in waterborne systems but add water or glycol to the formulation.
