FAQ
Zn₃(PO₄)₂ slowly releases phosphate and zinc ions in the presence of moisture. Phosphate ions form insoluble iron phosphate passivation layers on the steel surface, while zinc ions buffer pH and reinforce the passive film, inhibiting anodic dissolution of the substrate.
