Pigment Violet 19 (Quinacridone Violet)

PV 19 quinacridone violet combines excellent lightfastness (7–8), outstanding weatherfastness, and a clean bluish violet hue that is difficult to achieve with less expensive dioxazine or carbazole violets. Its transparent character makes it ideal for metallic and pearlescent automotive basecoats where depth and chroma are critical. It is also compatible with waterborne and high-solid OEM coating systems required by environmental regulations.
