FAQ
Human scotopic (dark-adapted) vision peaks at ~507 nm, very close to the 520 nm emission of green SrAl. Blue SrAl emits at ~470 nm where the scotopic eye is less sensitive, so perceived afterglow brightness is lower even at similar photon output. Green is therefore preferred for safety-critical applications.
