Flexographic printing relies on anilox rolls with cell volumes of 3–8 cm³/m². High viscosity oligomers resist transfer from the anilox and lead to poor dot reproduction. PFA-3's viscosity of 2000–5000 mPa·s at 60 °C (achievable at pressroom temperatures with mild warming) ensures clean ink transfer and sharp halftone dots without excessive reactive diluent loading.
