FAQ
PnB has a faster evaporation rate (boiling point 171°C vs 257°C for Texanol) and better water solubility, making it effective for open-time extension and better substrate wetting. Texanol stays longer in the film for superior low-temperature film formation. Many formulations blend both for balanced performance.
