PI 369 is an alpha-aminoketone (Type I) with absorption extending to 370 nm, allowing it to penetrate pigmented ink films more effectively than aryl ketone initiators. Its cleavage products are relatively colorless, making it particularly suitable for yellow, cyan and process-color UV inks where yellowing must be minimized.
