DMSO at 5-10 vol% increases PEDOT:PSS conductivity from ~0.1 to >100 S/cm by inducing conformational rearrangement of PEDOT chains. This secondary doping eliminates high-temperature post-treatment in roll-to-roll transparent electrode production for OPV and OLED devices.
