Cycloaliphatic amines such as PACM-20 produce water-white, non-yellowing cured films because they lack the chromophoric aromatic ring. Aromatic amines (e.g. MDA, DDM) yellow on UV exposure and are classified as potential carcinogens under REACH. PACM-20 is preferred wherever transparency, UV stability and regulatory compliance are required.
