For 365–405 nm LED lamps, use a Type I acylphosphine oxide photoinitiator such as TPO or Irgacure 819 at 2–4 phr. For broad-spectrum mercury-arc UV, a blend of 2 phr Darocur 1173 and 1 phr Irgacure 184 provides fast surface and through-cure. Deaerate the formulation before use to minimise oxygen-inhibition at the bondline surface.
