FAQ
The PMMA-thickened thixotropic structure gives GCA-50 a resting viscosity of ~1000 mPa·s, preventing drips and run-off on vertical or overhead joints. Under shear during application the viscosity drops to allow good substrate wetting, then recovers to hold position during the anionic cure cycle.
