FAQ
WEF-50 is an aliphatic polyamine adduct designed to co-disperse with standard bisphenol-A waterborne epoxy dispersions (e.g., EEW ~500–600 based). The recommended mix ratio is 4:1 to 5:1 (epoxy dispersion : WEF-50 by weight) targeting a stoichiometric amine:epoxide balance. Pre-dilute WEF-50 with 10–20% water before adding slowly to the epoxy under agitation. Pot life at 25°C is 4–6 hours; coalescence aids (5–8% Texanol) improve film formation below 10°C. Curing is complete after 7 days at 23°C yielding pencil hardness ≥2H and crosshatch adhesion 5B.
