FAQ

HBE-128 is produced by catalytic hydrogenation of standard BPA epoxy, eliminating the aromatic rings responsible for UV-induced yellowing. The result is a colorless resin (APHA ≤30) that retains the excellent chemical resistance and adhesion of standard epoxy while offering 5–10× better UV stability. It is extensively used in clear protective coatings for polycarbonate lenses, food-can interior linings (meeting FDA 175.300), and moisture-barrier coatings for electronics, where color shift under UV exposure is unacceptable.
