FAQ
MY-721 (TGDDM) contains four glycidyl amine groups per molecule, creating an exceptionally dense crosslink network when cured with aromatic amines or anhydrides. The resulting Tg exceeds 200°C, with outstanding hot-wet mechanical retention making it the standard matrix resin for carbon fiber prepregs used in aircraft primary structures. In coating applications, MY-721 is blended with DGEBA to increase crosslink density for high-temperature chemical-resistant linings on process equipment where temperatures routinely exceed 180°C.
